Eblana was also the name of an ancient settlement that became the city of Dublin in Ireland, just as Lutetia became Paris

The company was founded in 2003 by Páraic Maguire, a native of Dublin living in Paris since 1992.

Prior to establishing Eblana, Páraic was an international consultant with an editor of software solutions in Paris. He worked on numerous projects for French- and English-speaking clients in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Using his international experience, Páraic has brought together a team of native English speakers with professional experience in translating, journalism, training and information technology.
